Inside the Atelier
By Mariam Saeed
Light pours through tall windows as the atelier wakes. Bolts of silk and linen rest against the walls, waiting to become something considered.
Each garment passes through many hands. The cutter, the embroiderer, the finisher — each adds a layer of care that machines cannot replicate.
It is slow work, deliberately so. We measure success not in volume but in the quiet satisfaction of a piece made well.
